Richard Graham

Richard Graham is one of our partners. He specialises in commercial and civil litigation, and he also undertakes estates and probate matters.

Since being admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in 2004, Richard has acted for many clients, including:

  • recruitment companies
  • accountants
  • local governments
  • strata companies
  • mining clients and
  • defendants in criminal matters.

Richard has acted as counsel at:

  • civil and criminal trials at the Magistrates Court
  • mediations and pre-trial conferences at the Supreme, District and Magistrates Court and SAT
  • many pleas of mitigation at the District and Magistrates Court
  • many interlocutory applications at the Supreme, District and Magistrates Court.

He was previously involved in local government. He was a Councillor at the City of Cockburn between 2000 and 2008, Deputy Mayor of the City of Cockburn between 2000 and 2007, a board member of the Western Australian Local Government Association between 2003 and 2008 and a member of various committees at the Western Australian Planning Commission during his time as a councillor.

Richard was also previously President of the Business Leaders association, and a board member of the Melville-Cockburn Chamber of Commerce.

Richard has provided pro bono legal services at the Citizens Advice Bureau, Sussex Street Community Legal Centre and been a pro bono prosecutor with the RSPCA.  This work included being President of the Citizens Advice Bureau of Western Australia during 2013-2014.

Richard is a member of 2 committees at the Law Society of WA.  These are the Courts Committee and the Costs Committee.

Will Vogt

Will Vogt is one of our partners. He specialises in property transactions and commercial disputes, including litigation related to building and construction. He also advises in relation to mortgage and loan contracts. Will holds a Real Estate Sales Persons Registration Course Certificate. He is respected for his straightforward commercial advice and has developed longstanding client relationships.

Will was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia in 1999. Amongst others he has acted for developers, construction companies, property investors, real estate agents and home buyers.

In 2003, Will was engaged as In-House Counsel of a construction company in Dubai, and lived and worked in Dubai for a year.

Will has litigated cases in the Magistrates, District, Supreme and Federal Courts, in the Building Disputes Tribunal and has conducted arbitrations under the Commercial Arbitration Act 1985 (WA).

Will currently provides pro bono legal services at the Citizens Advice Bureau and Subiaco Community Legal Service Programme.

Will grew up in the Northern Territory and played Australian Rules Football for several clubs including the Wesley Curtin Tigers in Perth. He holds bachelors degrees in Law and Arts, and while studying won his Law School’s commercial law prize. Will manages his own extensive property portfolio which consists of property in Australia and overseas. In this way he has gained experience as a property investor which helps him give practical advice to his clients.
